Register for the 2025 PPSA or IRW

CONFERENCE REGISTRATION

In order to present or attend the PPSA or the IRW, you are required to pay your registration fees before the conference begins.

Registration for the PPSA gets you access to all IRW events, and registration with the IRW gets you access to the PPSA. Registration in both is not needed.

Both events take place in the Kinnear Centre at the Banff Centre.

PPSA & IRW Registration Categories & Fees

To register for the PPSA or IRW:

1. Go to: https://www.prairiepsa.com/register/

2. Log in or create an account. This will take to your “Dashboard”

3. Select “Events” from the left-hand side of the Dashboard Note: If you don’t see a list of icons on the left-hand side, click the Menu icon in the upper left-hand corner.

4. Select “2025 Prairie Political Science Association (PPSA) Conference & Indigenous Relationality (IRW)”

5. Select your registration category

6. A menu will appear on the right-hand side which collects information helpful for planning the event. Click “Next” Note: The information under “Which days will you be on site?” does not book your accommodations, it helps us know how many people will be at the Banff Centre each day.

7. Enter child-care information, if applicable. Click “Next” Note: You can indicate whether you will need our free, on-site childcare here. We’ll be in touch directly with the details.

8. Select a payment option:

Pay via E-Transfer. Click “Pay Now”.

• IMPORTANT: You still need to E-Transfer the registration amount to prairiepolisci@gmail.com through your own banking app or bank’s website.
• Once you “pay” with the E-Transfer option, you will receive an automatic email reminding you both of the amount you owe and to E-Transfer your fees.
• When you have completed your E-Transfer, the PPSA will receive notification and will set your PPSA or IRW account to “paid”.

OR

Pay via Credit Card. Click “Pay Now”.

• Note: An indicated cost-recovery convenience fee will be charged for all credit card transactions. No convenience fee is charged for e-transfers.

9. You are done! A receipt will be emailed to you and is also available under “Invoices” on your Dashboard.

Running into Problems Getting Into Your Account?

PPSA Password Reset Instructions:

If you run into problems, first try resetting your password:

1. Go to: https://my.prairiepsa.com/user/forgot-password
2. Enter your email associated with PPSA. Note: the system is very finicky, I’ve found: if there is blank space entered at the end of the email address or before, the system won’t recognize the email as valid.
3. Click Send: The system will email you a verification code which you enter in new screen that has automatically appeared.
